Ghosts and demons, spectres and apparitions - you’ve read the books, seen the movies and heard the stories - but do you believe them?

There are many explanations for these sightings/occurrences; some say they are simply the eyes playing tricks, others say elaborate hoaxes, alcohol and drug abuse (leading to hallucinations) and, overly active or abnormal brain activity etc, can explain most alleged supernatural phenomena.

Whilst many a great ghost story has been conclusively laid to rest with a logical explanation (lights and shadows can produce convincingly eerie manifestations), there are those however, that appears to defy all things natural, keeping the critics at bay and remains still... unexplained.

At over 500yrs old, St Helena certainly boasts its share of ghostly tales.  Some accounts are questionable to say the least (a 5yr old would probably find these hard to believe!); but there are also stories that appear to have a level of credibility and are firmly supported by those who claim to have seen.

For your entertainment, Clique4 has decided to delve into the darker side of the island (armed with a crucifix and some holy water of course!) bringing to you a mixture of spine tingling yarns and eyewitness accounts of alleged sightings of characters of a... well... unpleasant  nature.

Read on, if you dare...
