On Monday, 19th October 2009 the Bank of St. Helena proudly opened their very own “new” bank premises situated in Market Street, Jamestown.  To commemorate the special occasion an “Open Invitation” was extended to all customers.  Opening speeches were made by the Chairperson, Mrs. Carolyn Thomas, The Bank Manager, Miss Rosemary Bargo and the Project Manager, Mr. Cyril George.  The Bank was then officially opened by the Manager Miss Rosemary Bargo, (St. Helena’s first St. Helenian Bank Manager) and the longest serving member of staff Mrs Rosemary Benjamin.
