Mundens Battery
Mundens Battery is situated to the East of Jamestown when standing at the seafront and looking out to sea. It is a walk that can be done leisurely at any time of day and takes approximately an hour, however to capsulate the historical events that took place and to explore the ruins remaining two hours would be ample timing.

James Bay is the one and only exit/entrance to St. Helena therefore is home to the island’s entire marine fleet, which on a permanent basis consist of commercial and privately owned boats and temporarily accommodates visiting yachts, cruise ships and our very own RMS St. Helena (our life-line to the outside world).
